Keeping an eye on global security

When it comes to providing you with a CCTV system, our diverse range of products integrate very well with any additional specialist components such as access control and alarms, from other manufacturers.

Our innovative video surveillance solutions are a great fit for any situation: from homes and small businesses to multi-site, multi-user configurations for corporate, transport, traffic and public applications.

As the surveillance market gradually migrates from analogue to digital, we can offer both pure digital solutions and hybrid systems. Hybrids  combine local analogue systems with digital access at the local, regional, national or global level - so they are ideal for operations such as retail, fast-food chains, utilities, petrol stations and banking.

First class cameras

Cameras are the eyes of any video surveillance system. Bosch develop their own cameras based on an advanced video-processing integrated circuit that optimises image quality, even under difficult lighting conditions. Cameras like AutoDome, Dinion and IP cameras have set industry standards for image quality, as well as automatic and programmable features. Patented signal processing technology extends sensitivity and dynamic range. Other innovative features include:

bullet

Lens detection that simplifies installation.

bullet

AutoDome with AutoTrack to detect and follow motion (freeing operators to handle alarm situations.

bullet

Bilinx bi-directional communication technology, where the fine-tuning can be completed from the operational control centre, this saves maintenance costs.

bullet

NightSenseTM that supplies first-class pictures when it gets dark.

The cutting edge in recording

Compared to conventional techniques, digital recording offers higher quality, better reliability, and quicker searches of recorded events. Bosch has stand-alone models that replace analogue time-lapse recorders and advanced digital Divar and DiBos recorders can be used for stand-alone solutions for small systems, local expansions for larger installations, or global expansions via public or private network.

Bosch also offer a compact observation system, called Eazeo, aimed at small businesses like boutiques, jewellers, supermarkets and banks. The Eazeo system comes with up to eight cameras, and provides local and remote viewing, analogue or digital recording, and much more.

Innovative video motion detection

Thanks to Bosch's expertise in visual surveillance, they have developed innovative motion detection technology. Unlike traditional infra-red beams, ultrasonic sensors or photoelectric light barriers, video motion detection actually analyses the surveillance scene. When motion is detected, it triggers an alarm and automatically stores the images for analysis - and possible use as evidence.
