Bosch Eazeo Observation System with its Internet-enabled digital recorder
and up to eight cameras is a very good and cost-effective CCTV system for
small to medium sized restaurants. Its good for keeping an eye on bars and
tills as well as the external boundaries. Cameras can also keep an eye on
customers to see when they are ready for the next course instead of waiters
'hovering over them'.

Jewellers
experience a particularly high risk environment due to high value items
being displayed. They need to display their valuables openly to prospective
customers whilst minimising the risk of theft as far as possible.

Eazeo system can keep close observation on display cases, till areas, and

solution is created following in depth discussions with the client on more
than one occasion, followed by a field survey including photographs and
calculations.
Camtek supply simple
observation systems up to very complex digital systems which can include
conventional digital colour cameras or IP networked cameras or a mixture. A
variety of digital recording systems are available.
Hotels present a
special problem, their buildings and grounds can be extensive. Car parks
need covering to give guests reassurance that their cars and their contents
are protected. Cameras also provide cover for tills and reception areas as
well as entrances and exits, general public areas and conference facilities.

Petrochemical Plant
Safety in the petroleum industry, off-shore oil rigs, and
gas installations require extreme caution. All electrical items in the 'Ex'
or explosive area must be protected in flame-proof, sometime munitions
proofed enclosures. Protection must not only extend to camera systems, but
to pan/tilt/zoom mechanisms, and cabling is normally more heavily protected.
Camtek Surveillance have advised a number of overseas customers and offered
explosive proofed housings and camera systems which not only work in
hazardous areas but also extreme climatic environments too.
We have offered advice to installations from Mexico to
the Middle East, North America to the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.

Example: Manufacturing Control Monitoring
Industrial Processes
A large manufacturing plant of extruded
plastics had a problem monitoring the placing of raw material between heavy
industrial rollers, an existing camera was giving problems due to extreme
temperatures. We were able to offer a more modern product and give advice
about sighting the unit. The machine operators can now see the processes
clearly and the idea was replicated on other plant.
